Nucleus Recruits Finance Director From SJP

IFA-owned wrap Nucleus has appointed former St James’s Place finance development director Neil Howitt to its team.

Howitt, who also worked at the Zurich insurance group in a finance role, takes on the role of finance director at Nucleus.

‘Nucleus has already established itself at the leading edge of the dramatic changes in our industry and the opportunity to be a part of this was too good to miss,’ said Howitt.

‘I have known (chairman) Paul Bradshaw and (chief executive) David Ferguson for many years and the prospect of working with individuals of their quality and profile is very exciting.’

Howitt will assume responsibility for operational finance, compliance and legal aspects of the Edinburgh-based business.

Ferguson (pictured above right with Howitt) said he was ‘delighted’ at the appointment.

‘His extensive experience in both the commercial and distribution aspects of financial services will be a huge asset to the team as we continue to aggressively grow the business,’ he said.
